WHO AM I, THOUGH?

What's more powerful than a good story?

Storytelling is my innate way of relating to the world. As a kid I could be found rallying my friends to rehearse a movie I'd written about faeries with magical dance powers, shooting and editing music videos to our favorite songs, and writing music for a band of my friends (even though none of us could play instruments yet). Through all of this I learned that making art catalyzes connection and community. This made me a proud high-school theatre kid and lead me to earn my BFA in Theatre Performance and minor in Music Technology from Chapman University in 2021.

I learned an unexpected lesson from college: when a door closes, a window opens. When I wasn't cast in a show, I was delving deeper into music production on my own. Since then I've been developing my musical persona, The Whetherman, and growing my skills as a songwriter, composer, production engineer, and vocalist. Now, I'm figuring out how best to combine my skills in acting, music, and writing into a career. In the meantime, I can't stop making things: more songs for The Whetherman, a stand-up routine, a script for a TV series...

I am who I have always been: an open-hearted lover of all things creative. My mission is to break boundaries and foster human connection through stories, whatever form they may take. Let's continue that journey together!
